With use of digital reaching saturation point, building digital capability internally within organisations has become business critical over recent years. In this bite-size briefing, we explore the core competencies required for an organisation to thrive in the digital economy. Our Digital Competency Framework aligns the strategic vision for digital with the core competencies required to deliver internally on the digital agenda. We will examine ways of facilitating both individual and organisational agility using our Digital Competency Framework with a focus on the four tenets of building digital capability:
- Knowledge
- Skills
- Attitude
- Behaviour
We will look at the competencies of a digitally advanced organisation and how these areas manifest at both a strategic and operational level. You will leave the session effectively able to identify digital development needs whilst planning both strategically and operationally for driving digital advancement internally.
